Service Description
Chess Motif Stats is a chess tactical training platform that uses SM-2 spaced repetition to help users improve their tactical skills. The service includes puzzle solving, skill tracking, and analysis features. Puzzle data is sourced from the Lichess puzzle database (CC0 license).
User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use automated tools to solve puzzles or manipulate statistics, attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data, use the service for any illegal purpose, or interfere with the operation of the service.
Limitation of Liability
Chess Motif Stats is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the service. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time.
Age Eligibility
This service is operated from South Korea. Under the Korean Information and Communications Network Act and the Personal Information Protection Act, only users aged 14 or older may use this service. Users under 14 may not create an account or use the service. For minors under the age of majority in their jurisdiction, prior consent from a legal guardian is required for any purchase; purchases made without guardian consent will be fully refunded upon request. Accounts found to have misrepresented age may be terminated immediately.
Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the service shall be submitted to the courts of the Republic of Korea having jurisdiction over the address of the applicable party (plaintiff or defendant). Customers residing outside Korea are also bound by Korean law as the governing law.
